I have been working in care on-and-off for seven years now, mostly covering nights to work around my small children. The flexibility is what attracted me to work in care in the first place, as my husband is in the army.
In March 2020, I was given the opportunity to progress within Forget Me Not, and was appointed the Area Assessor / Co-ordinator role. I have recently begun studying for my Level 3 in Health and Social Care to assist me within my new job role.
I find care such a rewarding industry to work in, knowing I am making a real difference to people’s lives, as it really makes me feel like I am giving something back to the community.
Over the next five years, I hope to keep developing my skills and progressing within Forget Me Not.
