I like to think of myself as an extremely positive person with excellent communication skills, which I find extremely helpful for my job role. I enjoy meeting people and being sociable, as well as keeping fit and active. I find I can use my knowledge in these fields to help my clients stay active.

I believe that in my role, empathy is very important, as you never really know just what someone has gone through or is going through.

It is important to me that I have regular clients, as I really enjoy getting to know people on a personal level, and I try to relate to them as best as possible. It’s also important to build up relationships with their families.

I think that training is very important, and this is what I have really found helpful in working for Forget Me Not – they always ensure we are fully trained on all equipment needed. I have just enrolled on my Level 3 in Health and Social Care, so I hope to complete this over the next couple of years to assist with my knowledge.
